Semra ÖZALEV PARLAK was born in 1977 in Bulgaria. She finished high school in a public school in her hometown , Byal Izvor. In 1995 she came to TRNC and enrolled at Near East University. She did her BA degree in English Language and Literature in 2000 and started working as an English instructor at NEU. She completed her MA degree in International Relations in 2004.
