Near East University English Preparatory School organized an event titled “Picnic with a Purpose” for its students. As part of the event, students came together with their teachers in a picnic area and enjoyed spending time in nature. In line with the aim of promoting social interaction and environmental awareness, students also collected litter found in the picnic area and contributed to cleaning the environment. This event not only strengthened students’ social interaction outside the classroom but also helped them develop a sense of responsibility towards nature. The “Picnic with a Purpose” event provided a meaningful learning experience in terms of nature, social solidarity, and social responsibility.
