In 2025, Near East University English Preparatory School organized a trip to Taşkent for its students. Held under the theme “Explore, Learn, Connect,” the event included a visit to the Taşkent Picnic Area, a nature walk, and an opportunity for students to closely observe the historical and cultural significance of Panagia Apsinthiotissa Monastery. Throughout the trip, students spent time immersed in nature, gaining greater environmental awareness while also strengthening their social interactions with their friends and teachers. This activity supported students’ learning experiences outside the classroom and made a meaningful contribution in terms of history, culture, nature, and social engagement.
