As part of its educational, social, and cultural development activities, the Near East University Preparatory School organized a Walled City tour in Lefkoşa with the participation of Preparatory School students and their teachers. During the visit, students explored important historical sites and cultural heritage areas within the Walled City, gaining first-hand knowledge about the rich history, architecture, and traditions of Lefkoşa. The tour allowed students to connect classroom learning with real-life cultural experiences, observe historical buildings and landmarks, and develop a deeper understanding of the local community and its heritage. In addition to supporting cultural awareness, the activity encouraged social interaction between students and teachers, strengthened communication outside the classroom environment, and promoted experiential learning.
