*Stakeholders for a higher education institution are the institutions, organizations, and individuals who interact with the academic program, influence its outcomes, or are affected by those outcomes.

**In general, stakeholders can be grouped as internal and external stakeholders. External stakeholders, on the other hand, represent the individuals/institutions/organizations that contribute to the activities of the unit and from whom the unit receives support in shaping its activities.

***It refers to the degree to which the stakeholder can positively or negatively influence the activities and services of the university and the unit.

****The importance level is scored between 1 and 5. A score of 5 represents the highest level of importance, while a score of 1 represents the lowest.

*****The stakeholder feedback method refers to the channels through which the unit will collect feedback from its stakeholders. For example, a unit may choose to gather stakeholder feedback through surveys, written questions and feedback requests, meetings, face-to-face interviews, focus group discussions, and feedback received through the unit’s communication tools.

Note: The prioritization of stakeholders is determined by considering their level of influence and importance. Influence refers to the degree to which the university affects the stakeholder through its activities and services, as well as the stakeholder’s power to influence the university through their decisions. Importance refers to the value the university places on meeting the expectations and needs of the stakeholder.
